Is the World Post-America?

I talked with a man who is from South Africa. He talked about how South Africa was in a spending frenzy on programs. When there was no more money to spend, because they tapped out taxpayers, the taxpayers revolted. Imagine 76% unemployment. Is America headed to the South Africa model of 1995?
