The reason there is a 1st Amendment in the US Constitution is that the US Government can't be trusted with telling us what is actually going on, we must be able to tell each other. They also shouldn't tell us about religion or whether, or not, we can talk to elected officials about our issues.

The reason there is a 2nd Amendment in the US Constitution is that the US Government can't be trusted to be the only one who has guns. They are criminals, they are liars, they are thieves, they are rapists, they are torturers, they are murderers. The guns are so they don't enter our houses at night, rape our children, and rip us off blind.

The rest of the US Constitution depends on the first two amendments.

We the people can't give an inch to criminals.

Period.
