Ex-Bail Bondsman Sentenced For Prostitution Role

A former bail bondsman who also ran prostitution rings and who at times mixed the two by bailing out only those women who agreed to hook for him, was sentenced Tuesday to a year and a day in federal prison, according to the U.S. attorney's office.

Ronald Martinez, 41, of Hartford, was the last of 10 people to be sentenced for their roles in running three related rings.

He will also serve two years of supervised release under the sentence handed down by Judge Christopher F. Droney in federal court in Hartford.

Martinez pleaded guilty Aug. 22, 2006, to use of an interstate facility (telephones) to promote prostitution; prostitution; conspiracy; money laundering; and violating the Mann Act, which makes transporting people across state lines to engage in illegal sexual activity a federal crime.

Martinez hid his prostitution businesses by calling them "escort services." The "services" were advertised in area newspapers and in the yellow pages of telephone books under the names Fantasy Entertainment Services, Fantasy Companions, Fantasy Playmates, and Connecticut Playmates.

Occasionally, there was overlap between his prostitution businesses and his licensed bail bond company, Liberty Bail Bonds of Connecticut LLC. Martinez bonded women out of jail on the condition they pay the costs of their bonds by going to work for him as prostitutes.

Another ringleader in the prostitution businesses, Dennis Paris, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison last week. Unlike Paris, Martinez lacked a lengthy criminal history and faced no allegations of violence, said Tom Carson, spokesman for the U.S. attorney's office.

In order for the above prostitution racket to go as long as it did, I would have to suppose at least one officer, prosecutor, and/or judge was paid off with oral sex. Connecticut State Police, Judicial, Attorney, Official, Legislator, Executive Branch, and prosecutor misconduct is legendary. The whole state is run [like this].

Suffering the consequences of the immoral Romans
